Greetings!

As you know, the City has moved the Retiree Health Insurance Open Enrollment period from summer to November to align with the calendar year instead of the fiscal year. We’ve just learned that SDPEBA is going to hold a Retiree Benefits Fair at the Balboa Park Club and online on November 2^nd. REA will be participating and we hope to see you there. We have missed these events which were canceled the last couple of years due to COVID. More information will be provided at a later date.

SAVE THE DATE: The Holidays will be here before you know it. Please mark your calendars for the 2022 REA Holiday Party on Tuesday December 13^th at the Bali Hai Restaurant.

Due to a family health emergency, I will be traveling to Northern VA later this month and may spend much of 2023 there. My plan is to return to San Diego periodically. While I am out of town, Advocacy Vice President Mike Bresnahan will step in. Thanks in advance Mike.
