Thanks again to any of you responsible for or at least OK with me being REA’s President. The responsibilities of running this organization, supported by and shared with the Board members, have been just right for my retiree lifestyle; with recurring monthly activities, keeping and gaining some old and new friends, in a position to help, and – darn – some deadlines to be reminded about. (What do you use for a *date book* to track and plan your activities?) I am counting my blessings, happy to be involved with REA and other people banding together to meet Dr. Suess’s Lorox’s claim that “Unless someone like you cares a whole awful lot, nothing is going to get better It’s not?” So, a big thank you to all who care a whole lot to make things better.
Isn’t that part of what Public Service was all about?
