Hello! I want to take a moment to tell you about a wonderful event that I had the opportunity to be a representative at on behalf of REA. On November 13th, 2025, the City of San Diego and Agewell Services held its annual Veterans Appreciation Dance 2025. It was held in the Balboa Park Club Ballroom. There were several hundred attendees who spent the afternoon dancing and having a great time listening to the sounds of The Sophisticats.
As part of REA’s community outreach effort we helped sponsor the event. Park and Recreation staff told me that with REA’s contribution, along with other sponsorships, they were able to offer lunches to the first 200 participants and have veterans attend free. It was an honor to show appreciation for the efforts that veterans have made for all of us. Below you will see several pictures of the event. Thank you.
